Lunch & Menus
All pupils at Hollington Primary School in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal every day. There are no forms to fill out and you do not need to let the school office know. Your child can let their class teacher know that they are school dinners during the morning register. Your child is entitled to a free school meal throughout the year or they can change between packed lunches and school dinners whenever they choose.
For Key Stage 2 children, school dinners cost £2.47 each.

At present the school lunches are supplied by ‘Nourish.’ All meals are hot, with a choice where possible. (No sandwiches are provided.) A drink of water is provided.
Money for school meals is payable in advance on the first day of each half term. Please pay via ParentPay.com.

Packed Lunches
Alternatively your child may bring a packed lunch. It is important to provide a strong lunch box. Drinks should be in an unbreakable flask or carton. All lunch boxes and flasks should be clearly labelled with your child’s name. No glass containers or fizzy drinks are allowed. No sweets, chocolate bars or nut products are allowed.
Children are NOT permitted to bring sweets to school.
HOLLINGTON PRIMARY SCHOOL IS A NUT-FREE SCHOOL
NOTE: If a child forgets their packed lunch they will be given a school dinner and payment is requested the next day.
Break Time Fruit
KS1 are provided with fruit from the school.
KS2 children are encouraged to bring a piece of fruit in for break time.
